I strive to make complex accounting issues feel approachable to clients by breaking down the guidance and demonstrating how it applies to their unique situation. As a Principal in the National Professional Practice Group, I’ve become one of Grant Thornton’s subject matter experts on Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE). I also serve as a Practice Support Advisor to engagement teams in Central Canada, and advise our teams and clients on accounting standards, assurance standards, and risk management.

With 10 years of experience in this role, I’ve had the pleasure of supporting engagement teams and privately held businesses in all industries. I’m always excited to see how business trends can impact an entity’s financial statements. I’ve also had the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge with my peers, both at the firm and with the broader accounting community.

On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children reading, playing board games, and experimenting in the kitchen. We also love spending time outdoors, especially going on long walks with our dog, Molly.
