By introducing efficient tax planning, I help my clients achieve transparency and reallocate resources to support future business growth. I start with a conversation that allows me to gather information about their business objectives and contributes to developing a comprehensive tax strategy they can feel confident in. Whether dealing with unique challenges or providing advice for future planning, I make sure each of my clients understand the benefits of their strategic decisions in order to achieve their business goals.

As a Partner with our tax group in Halifax, I specialize in corporate tax planning for small- and medium-sized privately held companies. Supporting our clients across various industries, I like to leverage my curious mindset and enjoy implementing plans to support short- and long-term business goals in a tax-efficient manner.

I enjoy contributing to the future of our profession and play an active role in the growth and development of my team through active coaching and mentoring. I also teach at various CPA Canada programs, including In-Depth Tax I and II and In-Depth Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business.

When I’m not in the office, I love to be outdoors and enjoy fishing, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and camping with my wife and two sons. I’m also passionate about being involved in our community by coaching both of my sons’ minor hockey and baseball teams.
