I’m a partner at Grant Thornton and a lawyer by profession, practising in the area of federal corporate international income tax. My specialty is advising multinationals on international tax matters, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, re-organizations and structured finance.
I joined Grant Thornton in 2012, bringing 16 years of combined experience with a top-tier law firm and a Big Four consulting firm. I’ve had the opportunity to work in Toronto, New York, London (UK) and Athens, so I have a strong international network that helps me deliver sound advice and service to my clients. These include large financial institutions, public companies in the steel, mining and manufacturing industries, large private corporations, and private equity firms.
I enjoy sharing insights on international tax, and have written for publications including Tax Management International Forum and International Tax Review. I lectured at the Federated Press Foreign Affiliate Course for several years and have spoken at the Ontario Tax Conference and the Tax Executive Institute.
I’m a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, International Fiscal Association (Canadian Branch), Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
