I bring over 20 years’ experience in public practice to my role as an assurance partner in the Halifax office. During my career, I’ve worked with clients across a broad range of industries including:

energy
aerospace and defense
telecommunications
fisheries
real estate
construction
retail
transportation.

I advise small- and medium-sized entrepreneurial organizations in the areas of financial compliance, accounting policy development, education and professional development, and tax planning. My experience allows me to lead a diverse team of advisors at Grant Thornton, both locally and internationally, providing services around complex financing and capital transactions, including initial public offerings, public debt, and equity offerings.

I recently served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Health and wellness are very important to me so I enjoy golfing and exercise. I also enjoy spending time with my children and family, in particular, our time away at the family cottage.
