Since first joining Grant Thornton in 2006, I’ve had the privilege to provide a broad range of audit, internal controls and accounting assistance to primarily publicly-accountable entities—including crown corporations, public companies, municipalities and other organizations with board and governance oversight. As a result of this work, I’ve developed expertise helping clients with their complex accounting and reporting requirements, whether they report in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS).

I remain committed to setting clear expectations, delivering exceptional client service and drawing on the skills of my extended team to provide clients with holistic solutions and advice.

While I’m originally from Calgary, I moved to Halifax in 2013 and now hold a Chartered Professional Accountant designation in both Alberta and Nova Scotia. Regardless in where I’m living, I believe in giving back to my community. That’s why I formerly served as Treasurer of Make-A-Wish Foundation (Atlantic Provinces) and am currently a board member for the Dartmouth Adult Services Centre (DASC).

Outside of work, I like to spend my time travelling both locally and abroad, indulging my interest in photography and kayaking through the beautiful environment in which we live.
